The Canton project consisted of adding six new 62' diameter x 140' high x 333,000-bushel concrete jumpform silos in which Buresh worked jointly with McPherson Concrete. Buresh’s millwright scope included installing two rows of 20,000 BPH Hi Roller upper transfer belt conveyors that fed two rows of Union Iron fill drag conveyors (system is designed to add a 3rd row of fill conveyors in the future) fed from the distributor on top of the existing slipform silos. These upper transfer belts were supported by a 16' wide box truss catwalk spanning from the existing slipform silos to the first new jumpform silo. Each new jumpform silo was equipped with an air kanal aeration and unload system with sidedraw unload systems that fed a series of three 60,000 BPH Hi Roller reclaim belt conveyors that were installed above grade and transferred grain back into the existing reclaim tunnel conveying equipment.
